"First impression: the queues were chaos"
It felt like a mess right away. The turnstiles were moving so slowly, and staff kept shifting the queues around, which just made everything more confusing. We got there early and still missed the start, which was really frustrating. The info on the site wasn’t much help either

"Really poor communication"
I don’t know why it’s been so hard to get a reply from newcastleunited.com, but it’s been frustrating. I had an issue with an order, sent emails, filled in the contact form, and all I got back was an automatic response. When you’ve paid money, you just expect some kind of update, even a quick one. I waited days and still never got a proper answer. Not really what I expected, and it feels like nobody is actually checking customer service

"Loyalty points feel hit or miss"
The site itself works fine for the most part, but the ticket ballot and loyalty points system can feel a bit hit or miss. I’ve been going for years and still end up missing out, while other people seem to get lucky more often. I understand demand is really high, but I do wish the process felt clearer and a bit more balanced

"NUFC TV stream kept cutting out"
I paid to watch on NUFC TV and the stream kept freezing every few minutes. Come on now, if people are paying for it, it should at least stay connected. Really frustrating experience...

"I felt really unsafe leaving the match"
I went to the game expecting to enjoy myself, but the way things were handled after full time ruined it for me. The crowd control was really poor, with everyone being pushed toward the same small exits, and I just felt stuck with no clear idea where I was supposed to go. There were stewards around, but from where I was, they weren’t giving proper directions, just shouting random bits that didn’t really help.

I was with my dad, and seeing him get knocked about made me angry because I was more worried about getting us out safely than thinking about the match. For a club this big, I expect much better than that. I left feeling stressed and annoyed instead of happy, which isn’t how a match day should end

"Expected Better for Such a Big Stadium"
Went to the match and had a decent time watching the game, but the stadium itself gave me really mixed feelings. You expect a big club to have things running properly, but the facilities were disappointing. The toilets were dirty, bins were overflowing, and the floors looked like nobody had touched them all day. Getting food was a bit of a mess too, with disorganized queues and sticky tables around the concourse. It’s frustrating because the atmosphere should’ve been the main thing I remembered, but I ended up noticing how run down and uncared for parts of the place felt. Not the worst day out, but definitely not the experience I expected

"Got the wrong item and the box looked terrible"
I ordered an XL home shirt because I was planning to wear it for the weekend match with my brother, and somehow I ended up getting a scarf instead. The box was half crushed when it arrived and barely had any tape on it, like it had already been opened or just packed in a rush. There wasn’t even an invoice inside, which made it more annoying when I tried to figure out what happened. I emailed about it and it took ages to get a reply, so overall I’m really not happy with this order

"Went to the match the food..."
Went to the match the food just wasn’t good. The queue took ages, like ages, and when I finally got my burger it was cold in the middle. The chips tasted like they’d been sitting there forever too. Drinks were really overpriced as well. The staff seemed stressed, so I don’t really blame them, but for what you pay, it should be better. Much better. I wouldn’t bother getting food inside again

"Frustrating account experience"
I tried using newcastleunited to sort out my account, but it was a bit of a headache. The pages were loading slowly, the login kept kicking me out, and changing my details wasn’t clear at all. I’m always careful with account info, so when things kept glitching I didn’t really feel comfortable just clicking around and hoping for the best. I ended up going in circles for ages just to do something simple. It wasn’t great on mobile either, which made it even more annoying.

"Refund came through, though I didn’t fully trust it at first"
I had to return a shirt because the sizing was a bit off. The return instructions were straightforward, which was a relief because I’m always a little wary of customer service when refunds are involved. It wasn’t instant, but the money showed up after about a week and I didn’t have to chase them. Overall, better than I expected and I’d probably order from them again.

"Pretty good deal overall"
I ordered a shirt from Newcastle United and thought the price was fair compared with a lot of other club shops. Delivery wasn’t exactly cheap, but it wasn’t too bad either. The shirt feels good quality and I’m happy with it overall. I’d probably order from them again, especially if there’s a decent offer on.

I usually stick with another ticketing site because I’ve used it for years, so I wasn’t expecting much here. But the screen reader support worked well, which I appreciated. The ticket pages were still a little fiddly in places, but the staff info was clear enough to help me get through it. I’m kind of torn, because I’m loyal to my usual platform, but this was mostly a good experience.

"Late Once, But Tracking Helped"
My package did arrive late one time, which was a little annoying. The tracking was decent enough though, so at least I had some idea of where it was. Anyway... it wasn’t a huge deal in the end, but I’d still prefer it to show up on time.

"For some reason, the discounts just weren’t there"
I went on Newcastle United expecting to find a decent promo code or some kind of worthwhile discount, but for some reason there was barely anything useful on there.

The prices felt high, and the few offers I did come across either didn’t work or only took off such a small amount that it hardly made a difference. It was a bit frustrating, especially coming from the official site.
In the end, I didn’t buy anything. I’d like to see them offer proper discounts every now and then instead of tiny promos that don’t really help.

"Membership is fine, but they could make access easier"
I got the membership mostly for ticket access and the extra perks, and it does work for the most part. But they don’t make it very clear what you’re actually getting, which is frustrating when you’re paying for it. The site has been slow for me too, so trying to use the benefits isn’t always smooth. It’s not a terrible membership, but I feel like they could do a better job explaining things and making it feel worth the price.

"I just didn’t feel comfortable paying there"
I tried to buy something from newcastleunited.com, i got all the way to the payment part before backing out. The site itself seemed fine at first, but once I reached the checkout, it just didn’t give me the confident feeling I like to have when I’m about to put in payment details. I know that probably sounds a bit picky, but when money and card info are involved, I notice every little thing.
There also weren’t many payment options that worked for me. I normally use a particular method when I shop online because it feels quicker and safer, and I’m just used to it, but that didn’t seem to be available. So then I was left with entering my card details directly, and the whole payment section felt a bit too basic for my liking. Not necessarily broken or anything, just not reassuring enough.
Maybe it’s completely fine and other people have ordered with no issue at all, but for me, the checkout experience matters a lot. If I don’t feel like the payment process is secure, clear, and flexible, I’d rather not take the chance. In the end, I decided not to place the order, which was annoying because I had actually wanted to buy the item.

"I went on the official club shop..."
I went on the official club shop just wanting a home shirt and a couple of things for my nephew, but there was barely anything in stock. Most of the sizes were either missing or sold out, and even finding out what was actually available felt like way too many steps.

It feels like the same few items are always sitting there, while anything decent disappears straight away. Frustrating when you’re just trying to buy normal merch without having to click around forever and still end up with nothing
